One Week of my week.

I know people write a note of everyday of their life.

I also know people write a journal. I do. Do you?

May be not everyday ... only when I remember to write down the event of the day, or if they are important may be ...

Last week was one of the the coldest week in my life. That is one important subject to remembered. Literally speaking it was the coldest week especially where I am.

The lowest temperature for Monday, January 15, 2018 was 28F. Hahaha ... that is definitely a cold cold cold for me. Guess what happened on Tuesday? It was 15F and we had a little bit of snowy day. Sure sure ... it wasn't that spectacular like up North but still it was a snowy day and it was a cold cold day. The whole week was cold. So we stay inside most of the time except for when we have to take the goats for their munchies up in the wood or when we have to feed the rest of the chickens, ducks, guineas, Ms Prissy and Ring.

I tried to capture the "everyday moment" last week as best as I could ... not so important but they are important may be to me.

I went to Walgreen to get my Sunday paper after church. I saw this cute little tea towel. This is one cute Valentine's Day tea towel. Can you imagine ... the store is already displaying Valentine's Day merchandise already?

I took the goats out for their munchies at the afternoon. Late afternoon. Yes of course it was cold so I have to bundle up. Double socks and all that. Sure you can't see my colorful warm cosy socks. How do you like my happy boot?

I found this book by accident. Hahhaha not really by accident. I have read it before I came to Texas a long time ago. When I happened to saw it on my bookshelf I took it out and I wanted to read it again. Wintery night is a good time to read something cheerful and funny. This book warm my heart. I recommend this book on any night ... summery night, springy night, autumny night ... or just a night you want to have something to read. I love how she write about everything of her experiences in Texas.

Well .... one fine day on Tuesday its started to snow or rather just glittery snowy day. Wasn't heavy snowy day but it was snowy alright.

I definitely do want to stay outside in the cold, snowy and slippery day. I decided to catch up on my sewing. Yes, yes, I do a bit of sewing. I have a lot to catch up you know :)

Sometimes in the evening I have to go out and feeds the animals. I saw these birds up on one of the big tree close to the house. Have you ever watch The Birds where Tippi Hedren was the big star on it? My darling hubby said his niece know Tippi Hedren personally. Isn't that sweet. In the cold winter time ... you have to find something jolly and happy about it. Cold and wintery doesn't have to be a depressing time.

Well, well, well ... last week we sure had lots of avocados and oatmeal pancakes. Darling hubby love avocados ... I go along with it. But yes ... talking about hot fresh pancake drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon ... yummy yummy. The pancakes always come with a cup of hot coffee.

Yesterday was Sunday. It wasn't as cold last last Sunday. But it was a sunny day so I took the "kids" out for their munchies. I can see that Peek and Boo are really growing up fast. I don't care if it is snowy or cold as long as the sun coming out I am happy with it.
