Meet the Kids

Here are the Kids.

Snow. Baby. Peek & Boo. Sunshine and Mr. Darling.

Snow is oldest in the group.

We got her from one lady really out of no way. We even got lost three times trying to find the lady who owned her. She is a pure breed Nigerian Dwarf but who knows. Her previous owner said she will give us the authentification paper from the Agriculture Department but we never got them. If she is pregnant right now, we will be having some babies of her in April. The first year she became a mother, she gave birth to four babies. Thank God, my hubby always check all the goats before going to bed. That night happened to be the coldest night of the year ... or rather the coldest day of the year because it was 2.30 in the morning when Snow gave birth to her babies. Hubby have to help her in the barn ... one didn't survived. We lost another one of her baby a few days later. Four babies to take care of during the coldest time of the year... it is too much. Bunny and Flagg survived but we only have Bunny for about four months. I cried when Bunny died. She is the sweetest thing. Snow always have the sweetest babies. She is easy to milk and Oh yes, Snow have the sweetest milk too ... how do you like that.

Baby is a mixed breed between Nubien and Nigerian Dwarf.

Her mother, Little Bits was my little baby along time ago. Baby was Little Bit first born. She died last year probably from a snake bite after three days of rains and flooding. Even thought I can't be sure she died from a snake bite but the flooding moment just make "everything" come out of the ground especially them snakes. I still misses her ... Little Bits.

Sunshine is a half Nubien, a quarter Nigerian Dwarf and a quarter Alpine.

Moonbeam, her mother was born on the brightest moon at 3 am in the morning. Therefore she was given the name Moonbeam by Hubby. She was killed by a wild mean dog.

Mr. Darling ...

we found him by accident last year. He is really a darling goat. He loves you really much after he get to know you. He likes you to scratch his head. Hubby said he probably was raise with a bottle formula, because he will still try to suck your finger whenever he have the change.

I suppose you have meet the Kids. Not the best pictures but you get the ideas.

Sometimes I will tell Hubby ... I am going to take the "Kids" out for munchie munchie. Hahahaha ... can you believe that?
