A walk in the woods.

Walking in the wood seem to be natural these days.

Well ... we lives in the middle of the wood anyway.

I normally taking the Kids aka the goats to the wood for their munchies munchies every late afternoon. The weather has been nice ... a little chilly sometimes but wearing a few layers of clothing will do + double socks and gloves and comfortable boots.

Every times I go out in the wood I will always find something that catches my eyes. Nothing extra ordinary just the day to day kind of things you may be will find in the woods. Let me show you what I found the day before yesterday and yesterday. That is why I always carry my camera with me but sometimes just my iPhone is good enough.

I found this mushroom just coming out of the ground. I almost step on it but the red color really brighten up its brown surrounding. I call this mushroom the Fairy Mushroom. Don't you agree its look like a fairy mushroom? I know I am a grown up but sometimes the child in me just love to come out and imagining thing especially if you are walking in the wood.

Then I found another mushroom. This is somehow tiny and skinny. I call her Tiny Skinny Mushroom. Imagine there are a colony of mushroom out there in the wood and just dying to be discover. Once, I work for a Nature Society ... we organised education trips for the school children. My high light of the trip is the part where we will go to a certain area in the forest looking for glowing fungus. Actually glowing mushroom. Neat huh!

I also found some dried mushroom. It seem interesting that they still intake to the branches or whatever they used to grow at. Eventhought these are death and dried mushroom I still think they are just plain beautiful. As if them mushroom have their own life spend too ... just like any living thing. May be one day I will find me a talking mushroom. How do you like that. May be there are a bunch of Fairy Mushroom Colony out in our wood and I just do not know that. Eeeemmm....

I called this The Fairies Branches Mushroom.

Well ... it was a nice late afternoon yesterday and the yesterday before. The goats was happy. I am happy with me finding them Fairies Mushroom.
